Media Investigator Instructions - Download
Instructions on how to use Media Investigator are presented on each screen but, if you wish to download a printable copy of the instructions, please complete the following form. (Note that if you have already requested our File Recovery Guide, there is no need to complete this form again as the link to printable instructions will be sent with the File Recovery Guide.)
What's Next?
If Internet Explorer displays a yellow information bar near the top of this window about protecting your security, click on the bar for options and select Download File...
When the following window appears, select Save to download Media Investigator to your computer.
*** IMPORTANT *** To maximise the number of recoverable files found, save Media Investigator to a drive other than the drive where you've lost your files.
After the download of MI_Setup.exe is complete, go to the folder where your web browser saved it and double click on the MI_Setup.exe file to install and run Media Investigator.
You can also choose the Run option to automatically run Media Investigator's installation progam.
After installing Media Investigator, simply go to your computer's Desktop or Start menu and click the Media Investigator icon to begin recovering your lost pictures, movies, music and other files.
